Burritt On the Mountain
Burritt on the Mountain Folk School, Huntsville, Alabama
Join me for a class on the Mountain! In the heart of Huntsville, Alabama, atop Round Top Mountain, lies Burritt on the Mountain, an important piece of Alabama’s history.
Burritt on the Mountain Folk School, offers hands-on workshops in a variety of disciplines taught by regional artisans who are passionate about preserving their craft.
Come a little early and shop at Josie's gift shop - myself and other local artisans offer items for sale that you won't find anywhere else.

Contact me and I will bring all the tools, equipment and supplies to teach a class/classes of your choice. Tables and chairs are not provided. Minimum class size is 4, maximum is 8 and min 3 hour class. Travel distance less than 50 miles from Huntsville Alabama. (contact me if more than 50 miles)

BEGINNER - wide floral
The wide floral pattern bracelet is one of our most popular projects and an excellent way to get an introduction to the basic wire wrapping technique. Get ready to create a stunning piece of jewelry that you'll be proud to wear! If you have your eye on an intermediate project, this is the prerequisite and will get you off to a great start. All made with sterling silver.
BEGINNER - narrow floral
Looking for a bracelet that can easily complement your other jewelry pieces? Our narrow floral pattern bracelet is perfect for pairing with bangles, beads, and other bracelets. It's a great beginner project and serves as a prerequisite for intermediate projects. Give it a try!

BEGINNER - copper
If you're looking for a classic combination, you can't go wrong with copper and sterling! The copper wire is hardened for strength, perfectly complemented by a delicate twist of sterling. Whether you're going for boho or western style, this bracelet is the perfect companion for bangles. This project can be used as a prerequisite for the intermediate projects
INTERMEDIATE - bangles
This class project presents an excellent opportunity for you to create elegant and delicate bangle bracelets. You'll have the option to choose from a range of middle wire options, including twisted, sparkle, or copper. These bracelets are versatile and can be worn alone or paired with other jewelry pieces to make a sophisticated statement. All made with sterling silver. *beginner project is a prerequisite
INTERMEDIATE - jet link
Introducing our latest project for 2024 that's sure to impress! We've combined a link type design with the technique used in the bangle bracelet project to create a stunning piece. The focal point is a Czech glass Jet Bead, available in black and Jet Blue (with more colors on the way!)
It looks absolutely amazing with bangle bracelets on either side.
